This event takes place in the Hershey Center for the Arts at Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia. You are welcome to see me there for any repair, adjustment or bow rehair. Instrument Care
When was the last time you had your instrument professionally adjusted?
We recommend an adjustment, bow rehair or new set of strings about four weeks before an audition or recital; the professional adjustment can vastly improve your potential outcome. It is especially important if you are hoping for a super recital or if your goal is one of the top chairs in your section.
FYI—don't schedule an adjustment right before the event; the changes in your instrument will be too distracting. Strings take time to stretch and to stabilize. Your instrument also needs time to settle into that soundpost adjustment fully. We want you at your best; make an appointment for your professional adjustment today!
